Valentine's Day

So yesterday was my seventh Valentine's day with Sean. We're getting old. This is what we've done the past seven years.

2005: Went to The Mustang in Park City for dinner. Sean gave me a ring that I still have and wear daily.

2006: I was on a study abroad in New Zealand, but Sean surprised me by sending me flowers.

2007: Sean was in Slovakia on his mission and I entered the MTC (on Valentine's day). We didn't send anything to each other. haha.

2008: Sean was still in Slovakia and I was serving in Belarus.

2009: I took Sean out to Christopher's Seafood and Prime Steak House in SLC.

2010: We spent Valentine's day in Brigham City with Will's family and my parents. They left the next day for their mission in Johannesburg. To celebrate V-day, on the 13th Sean made a Filet Mignon and crab leg dinner. It was delicious.

2011: We debated whether or not to go out to dinner or stay in and repeat the Surf n' Turf dinner we did the year before. We ended up repeating last year's dinner and it turned out so well! The picture on the left depicts yesterday's dinner. I took it with my phone and it's a bit blurry. In case you can't tell what everything is, we had top sirloin steak (which turned out better than ever), gigantic crab legs (more on that later), twice baked potatoes (the cheese covered food), and salad (the green stuff).
Everything turned out so well, but I have to admit to one of my short comings. I have a tendency to always buy way too much food because I'm worried that there won't be enough. For example, do you see the size of the crab legs? Well, I bought a total of FOUR of those because I was worried we wouldn't have enough. Four of those crab legs equals 2.4 lbs. Needless to say we have 2 left over for today!
All in all it was a great Valentine's day.

That dinner looks like it wants to eat me. Crab legs are scary!!!

Otherwise, very impressive :)
