Horrible Blogger

I assume that you've all noticed how inconsistent of a blogger I am. Oh well. A lot has happened in the past month or so since I wrote last.

First off, I graduated!! Yay for me! I have to admit that if feels very good to be finished, although I'm not sure that it's hit me yet. I'm sure I'll fully realize that I'm done this fall when I don't go back to school. Sean's parents came down for graduation--it was really good to see them. Sean and I are excited to go to Spokane later this summer to visit with everyone.

Sean and I have been married 1 year! Time has flown by--that's for sure. Our anniversary was on a Sunday, so we took our portable grill and had a bbq at a park in Provo Canyon. It was a lot of fun, and very pretty.

I started my job! I like it quite a bit. You may ask--what do I do? Well, a little of everything. No two days are the same and I am enjoying it quite a lot and staying very busy.

We went to Las Vegas with the Tolley's. It was both Sean and my first time in Vegas, and although we had fun, it was probably our last time in there for a long, long time. It's an interesting city, that's for sure. It was fun to get away and fun to spend a weekend with the Tolley's...but I don't like Vegas very much. Granted, there are some really fun things to do. We stayed at the Sahara Hotel at the north end of the strip. We went and saw the majority of the big hotels, took a ride on the New York, New York roller coaster, saw the Bellagio fountains (multiple times), went up the "Eiffel Tower," went to an aquariam (probably my favorite part), saw some circus shows at Circus Circus (there were these African acrobats that were AMAZING), went to a cool art gallery in Caesar's Palace, stumbled into a gay-rights demonstration, laid out by the pool (the water was too cold to swim...), and ate a ridiculous amount. Oh yeah, and did a little shopping, too. And for the record, I don't see the appeal of gambling. Sean and I didn't gambling at all, but we did watch people that were gambling. It does not look fun at all. Especially the slot machines--we saw sooo many people mindlessly putting coins in those machines. It was sad.

That's a quick summary of what has been happening--I don't think I did this month justice, but oh well!

Congratulations on graduating! That's so exciting! Glad to hear your job is going well and that you like it. I agree about Vegas, it's neat, but not that neat:)
