4 Months!

More like 4 1/2 months, but it's all good.  Madeline is doing so well.  Here are some quick facts about our little princess:

• At her 4 month check up she was 12 lbs. 6 oz. (36%) and 25 inches long (89%).  
• Eats rice cereal in addition to nursing.  I wasn't planning on starting her on rice cereal yet, but the doctor suggested it since she's skinny for her height.  I don't know if it's helping her gain any weight, but the girl loves it.  From the first time we gave it to her she's thought it was pretty fantastic.  We're going to wait another month or so before introducing her to vegetables.  This girl loves to eat.

• Is an international traveler!  We went to Italy with Sean's family for Christmas.  Madeline was such a fantastic traveler.  We were nervous to bring her on a transatlantic flight, but she did great.
• Was sleeping 8-10 hours a night before going on vacation.  We're currently working on getting her back to that schedule.
• Is a thumb sucker.  It's how she puts herself to sleep without crying.  It's really cute (hopefully it won't be a hard habit to break later).
• Loves chewing on anything.  Including her feet.  She learned how to bring her feet to her a mouth a few weeks back and hasn't stopped yet.  She also loves fingers.  Not just her own either; if someone is holding her she'll try to chomp on their fingers (there's a chance she's teething).
• Loves to yell.  When she's happy, sad, etc., it doesn't matter.  She's a vocal child.
• Still loves bath time. And being in the shower.  And looking straight up at the water with her eyes open while in the shower. 
• Loves books.  Her favorite is The Barnyard Dance by Sandra Boynton.  She gets REALLY excited every time I read it to her.
• When really relaxed, she rotates her left foot in circles.  Just like her dad.  It's really cute.
• Rolls from her stomach to her back every time we put her on her stomach.  Hasn't rolled from her back to her stomach, but I think she's pretty close.
• Is getting more hair.  She lost quite a bit at the beginning, but it's coming back :).  It looks like it will still be pretty dark, but it's hard to tell right now.
• Often falls asleep in crazy positions.
