Disclaimer: Any of you who know my husband probably won't believe a word of what I'm about to write.
Friday we get a call from a couple of friends; they're going to dinner with a group of people and then going Salsa dancing. As soon as I said Salsa dancing, Sean looked extremely skeptical and said "I'll go to dinner, but there is nothing I want to do less than go Salsa dancing." I was expecting that answer, and I was fine with it.
So we meet our friends for dinner at Terra Mia. It was 8 pm and so we had already eaten. They have good (but expensive) gelato there, so we ate that. And I got one of the best Italian soda's I've ever had. Sean was sitting across from Zach and following conversation takes place.
Zach: Come dancing with us.
Sean: I don't have enough chest hair to wear the shirts Salsa dancers wear.
Zach: That doesn't matter, come Salsa dancing with us.
Sean: There is nothing I want to do less than go Salsa dancing.
Zach: You WILL go salsa dancing with us!
Sean: No!
Zach: Yes!
(this continues for a few minutes)
Sean: Fine, I'll go!
I about died of shock. So we went Salsa dancing at Pirate Island (after the restaurant closes, it turns into a dancing place evidently). We're horrible Salsa dancers, but we had a lot of fun. Will we go back sometime soon...no, but we're glad we went.

Haha, that's funny. I think going salsa dancing would be a blast, I'd be terrible at it, but I still think it would be pretty fun. I've actually been wanting to take a ballroom dance class together with Spencer for awhile now, but there aren't any offered in our area so that will have to wait.
Some day that WILL be dale. Some day we WILL take dance lessons together and we WILL be good.
Power of positive thinking, right?
I'm sure you guys couldn't have been that bad. And Emily, you should be great at Salsa with all of those Zumba workouts :)
