15 months!

Madeline had her 15-month check up 2 weeks ago.  Here are her stats:

Height: 30 1/4 inches (44%)
Weight: 20 lbs 5 oz (13%)
Head: 46.7 cm (74%)

At 15 months Madeline is doing the following:
  • Running.
  • Climbing on taller things.
  • Sleeping well (12 hours at night, 2 good naps during the day).
  • Has developed a strong case of stranger anxiety.
  • HATES doctor's appointments.  She literally screams from start to finish.  If anyone has any experience with this and can give me tips on how to overcome it, that would be great.
  • Has a favorite stuffed animal, a yellow dog.  Actually, it's the only stuffed animal she'll even look at.  She sleeps with it at night and during the day she puts it on the window sill looking outside.  Everyday.
  • Has 7 teeth, most of which she got within a month.  Her first one came in a day before she turned 13 months old.
  • Isn't talking much, but does say Mama, Daddy, Baby, and Da for dog.  And babbles incoherently all day long.
  • Is much, much nicer to the baby I babysit.  She'll now bring her toys and try to feed her from a bottle.
  • Loves throwing things and banging things on the floor (our downstairs neighbor has to love us).
  • Still loves to dance.  This girl has some serious moves.
  • Thinks all the electronics in the house belong to her.  And definitely knows how to unlock any Apple product.  If you get a phone call from me or Sean and hear a baby babbling, Madeline wanted to talk to you.
  • Holds everything up to her ear and talks into it like its a phone.  I think this is especially funny because Sean and I don't really talk on the phone much at all.
  • Feeds herself with a spoon and insists on doing so.  She's working on using a fork, but hasn't mastered it yet.  Can drink out of a cup by herself, but won't most of the time; she still prefers using a straw.
  • Now has green eyes, like her momma.
  • Developed a clogged tear duct in her left eye so it pretty much constantly waters.
  • Claps and looks at us for approval when she does something she considers praiseworthy.
  • Has gotten pretty snuggly (normally only when I'm trying to get something done, like making dinner).
  • Will sit through longer stories.
  • Is finally getting more hair.  It's kind of scraggly, but it's coming in.
  • Is still extraordinarily opinionated.
  • Loves sitting in her bumbo.
  • Gets cuter and more fun every day.
