Today marks Madeline's one month birthday! I can't believe she's already been with us for a month. We love her so much and can't believe how fast she's growing. We don't know her official stats, but she has gotten significantly longer and weighs about 10 lbs. according to our bathroom scale. She's still in newborn clothes, but won't be for long. Here are a few facts about our Madeline at her one month mark:
- She absolutely loves bath time. She has since the very first time we gave her a real bath when she was 11 days old. She strongly dislikes being taken out of the bath.
- She loves to eat and gets really mad if she doesn't get to the moment she decides she's hungry.
- She's getting better and better at holding her head up! It amazes me how strong she's getting.
- She doesn't try to sleep as much during Tummy Time. She still doesn't mind it as long as we don't leave her like that too long.
- She rolled over once, but has yet to do it again. She's been close, but gets frustrated and stops.
- She loves being held and cuddling. She tricks us into holding her all the time.
- She makes eye contact way more often now. And smiles even more often. It's the cutest thing ever.
- Is a champion at fighting sleep during the day. I think she's taking an official stand against naps...not good.

One month already. crazy. She is so precious; I wish I could meet her. I can't believe she rolled over already. What a super-star. And she doesn't loathe tummy-time? You must be doing something right. :) Hopefully the nap thing will work itself out. It took forever for Britta to figure it out.
